Haiti has the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the Western Hemisphere. Rotarians around the world are working to reduce these rates and improve access to essential medical services for all mothers and their children.

RI President-elect Sakuji Tanaka outlined plans for his term and offered a preview of next year’s convention in Lisbon, Portugal. The convention drew to a close with entertainment by string quartet Stringfever and internationally trained dancer and choreographer Terence Lewis.
